Go up in the centennial funicular

The fun starts even before you reach the peak of Monte Igeldo. To get there, you can take a charming funicular with more than 100 years of history behind it. Made of wood and with a vintage look, this transportation choice will take you decades back in time.

Another option is to climb Monte Igeldo on the road, but we recommend the funicular so that you’ll be able to say you’ve been on the oldest funicular in the Basque country, which dates back to 1912.

Enjoy yourself at the amusement park

Whether you’re traveling with children or not, Monte Igeldo will be a great find. You’ll discover that it is host to a marvelous amusement park with fun for the whole family.
