The youth of San Sebastian have had a cultural and leisure space since the 12th of September. The Youth Center of Budebieta, named \u2018Kontadores\u2019, reopens its door with a wide range of programs and activities specially designed for the public age 18 to 30. Whatever your hobby might be, you will surely find some activity or program that will fit your interests. Obviously, the Center is also welcoming all the young people who are passing through the city or who are just visiting San Sebastian. So if you are planning to stay at our beach hotel in San Sebastian the next few weeks, you should be interested to know everything they are organizing. We\u2019ll tell you!<\/p>\n
This \u2018youth factory\u2019 will be opened every Friday from 17:30 till 20:30 and every Saturday from 17:00 till 21:00 during the course that has started. The programs contains courses of various artistic and cultural disciplines and, in addition, will have the availability for like-minded entrepreneurs or artist inspired by living art to work on their projects in separate rooms. Sounds good, doesn\u2019t?<\/p>\n

At the moment, there are even two courses available preventing the sexist attitude amongst youth. Especially the course \u201cfeminist self-defense\u2019 is raising the classroom\u2019s temperature. For men the course \u201cClown disfiguring: learning to lose\u201d is offered. Both courses will be taught on the 6th and 7th of October from 17:00-21:00, free of charge. The only thing you need to do is register online to participate in a course.<\/p>\n

\u201cFeminist self-defense\u201d is a workshop to collect and share experiences of women in relation to sexist violence. There be room and time to exchange opinions and personal experiences that will help to educate how to detect aggressive situations and attitudes.<\/p>\n
The workshop \u201cClown disfiguring for men: learning to lose\u201d is aimed at masculine behavior towards winning and playing games. Men always want to win, but losing doesn\u2019t have to be the worst option. Find more information here.<\/p>\n

A city for the youth<\/p>\n
The Kontadores center is just one of San Sebastian’s cultural options for young people, as there are many more initiatives. The Tabakalera space is another dynamic platform and has a varied agenda of activities, which include film screening, exhibitions, live arts, seminars and a long etcetera.<\/p>\n

Another attraction is San Telmo Museum, located in the middle of the Old Part of Donostia. It not only hosts the Museum of the Basque Society and Citizenship, but is also famous for its rich agenda of audiovisual activities.<\/p>\n
