This time we\u2019d like to tell you about one of the new customs connected to eating and drinking will that is really catching fire. Yes, you heard right! A new tradition has recently arrived in Donostia that you will love. It is called pintxo-pote. Keep Reading and we\u2019ll tell you all about it! At this point we don\u2019t need to tell you that pintxos are one of the pillars of Donostian cuisine. Travelling to San Sebasti\u00e1n involves soaking in not just the beauty and history of the city, but also filling your belly with the enormous selection of bit-sized snacks available in almost any tavern. To go out for pintxos is one activity you shouldn\u2019t skip.<\/p>\n

This tradition is what pintxo-pote comes out of. It consists of combining the tradition of pintxos with a pote, or in other words, with a drink. This way the gastronomic experience becomes much more complete and satisfying.<\/p>\n

But where and when can I enjoy pintxo-pote? This winning combination of food and drink at a low price is being adopted by more and more establishments. However, every restaurant determines the days and times that they offer them. In general, it is a habit that is popular when people are looking for evening snacks, more or less between 19:00 and 22:30. But once again, this depends on the establishment and even the neighborhood in question.<\/p>\n

The best part of pintxo-pote: the Price!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main advantage of pintxo-pote is, as we have suggested, the price, which fits all budgets. In the Amara neighborhood, for example, it is normal for bars to offer them for just 1 euro, while in Gros they are around 2 euros. Sounds great, right?<\/p>\n

More than 200 bars around San Sebasti\u00e1n have already joined this new gastronomic trend. The best part is that it doesn\u2019t matter what neighborhood you\u2019re in because there is almost certain to be a nearby bar that will offer pintxo-pote. Here\u2019s a practical list so you don\u2019t miss any!<\/p>\n

As you can see, Donostia is a place to be experienced with all five senses, but your sense of taste will be especially useful!<\/p>\n
